Cancellation Policy

This page explains how cancellations and rescheduling work for Swift Cleaning bookings.

1. Free cancellation window

Deposits are fully refundable if you cancel more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

2. Short-notice cancellations

Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment are non-refundable.

3. Same-day cancellations and no-shows

If you cancel on the same day, are unavailable, do not provide access, or the cleaner cannot get in within a reasonable time, we may treat the booking as a no-show and keep the deposit.

4. Rescheduling

Rescheduling is allowed and depends on availability. If you reschedule more than 24 hours before the appointment, the deposit remains refundable under the regular policy.

If you reschedule less than 24 hours before the appointment, the deposit is applied to the new booking but becomes non-refundable. If the rescheduled booking is later cancelled, the deposit is not refunded.

5. Access and readiness

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • the cleaner can access the property at the scheduled time;
  • pets are secured where needed;
  • the property is in a condition that is reasonably safe to clean;
  • utilities such as water and electricity are available if needed for the service.

6. Condition different from booking details

If the home is materially different from the details provided during booking, including uploaded photos or selected options, we may decline to start, suggest a revised scope or price, or reschedule the visit.

If that happens, any fees or refunds will be handled reasonably based on the situation and how much travel or work has already happened.

7. Cancellations by us

If Swift Cleaning cancels, a full refund will be issued.
